Accessibility is a baseline, not a feature.
We commit to WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across nessimworks.com and the software we deliver. This page documents that commitment, how we test, and how to reach us when something falls short.

The standards we hold ourselves to.
Our practice maintains conformance against the standards listed below. The bar moves with each release; if a published standard supersedes this one, we adopt it.
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA (target conformance for nessimworks.com)
- WCAG 2.2 Level AA on every client engagement we deliver
- Section 508 (Revised) for federal-facing work
- EN 301 549 where European clients require it
How we verify conformance.
Automated tooling catches regressions; humans catch experience. We use both, in that order, on every release.
axe-core via Playwright runs on every pull request. Lighthouse accessibility budgets fail the build below 95.
NVDA on Windows (Firefox, Chrome), VoiceOver on macOS and iOS (Safari), TalkBack on Android, JAWS on Windows for federal-facing work.
Every interactive flow is walked end-to-end with a keyboard. Focus order, visible focus, skip-to-content, and trap-free dialogs are verified.
Tested at 200% zoom, 400% browser zoom (1280px viewport), and at 320 CSS pixels wide with no horizontal scroll on the main flow.
VPAT and audit history.
A VPAT 2.5 (Section 508 / WCAG 2.1) for nessimworks.com is available on request. For client engagements, we publish project-specific VPATs and third-party audit reports as part of acceptance documentation. Reach out via the contact below to request the current version.
Where we are still working.
- Third-party embeds (when present) are reviewed individually; we may flag conformance gaps owned by the vendor.
- Some long-form journal posts use rich media; we caption new video and add transcripts on request.
